Reasons to Join an Honor Society

Colorado resident Jacob Scholl recently graduated from the University of Denver Strum College of Law. Before earning his law degree, Jacob Scholl was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.

Joining an honor society has several benefits outside of the prestige of belonging to a group of people who are serious about their school work. Above all, honor societies provide students-members an outlet to network. Honor societies also assist students with finding a means for supporting themselves in school. Organizations like Golden Key can provide educational scholarships and grants that will allow students to accomplish activities within the scope of academics.

These clubs also ask members to take an active role that involves participation in activities and taking on leadership roles.
